It is the endeavour of the management
to honour outstanding performance of the students in all spheres including
academic, sports, cultural and extra curricular activities. To encourage
good performance and to promote holistic development the management
gives awards, trophies, certificates. |

Annual
Day:
An annual day function is held for the junior college. It is
both entertaining and competitive in nature. The students are
encouraged to show their creative talents and to put in their
best efforts as the best 2 or 3 programmes are selected for
the Annual Day function of the entire School and Junior College.
The management gives cash prizes for all the students of the
selected programmes. |

Annual
Sports:
Our annual sports day basically has individual events and mainly
the track and field events like the heats, long jump, high jump,
shot put & discus throw. The best 2 students, in each event
are awarded I & II prize medals and certificates. |

Scholarship:
The Rotary Club of Mumbai, Sion, offers eight scholarships to
meritorious students of FYJC and SYJC. |

|
Miscellaneous:
The students are encouraged to take part in the various competitions
held for the different wards by the education department like
essay competition, elocution, debate, singing competition, folk
dance, instrumental music etc. The students also participate
in the science exhibitions organized by the education department. |
